first remove the old old one which has been installed

`sudo apt-get remove --purge libreoffice*

sudo apt-get clean

sudo apt-get autoremove

To Install the latest version:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:libreoffice/ppa

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install libreoffice

This worked for me
