The funny thing is that on Unity, CTRL + ALT + T does open a new window, apparantly not on Gnome...
To make the setup:
First...

Should do the trick.
For the numeric portion only add this:
NumOnly=$(cut -f2 <<< "$Var")
echo...
Save this as a script, but change all occurrences of xfce4-terminal
with your regular terminal name:
#!/bin/bash
if ; then xdotool windowactivate `xdotool search...
Install GNOME Tweak Tool:
sudo apt install gnome-tweak-tool
Go to Top Bar on the left and enable date under clock.
Try turning on your Android device and unlocking the screen (and make sure it stays unlocked / unlock it again) before moving the files.
