I think you've been accessing the local repo mirror while being updated. Wait some time (usually 1 hour is enough) before trying again. This can happen to all live releases, not just 16.04...

It is /usr/share/sounds/ubuntu/stereo/bell.ogg.

Other options can be seen in the Sounds settings (Bark, Glass, Sonar, etc.) depending on which desktop, etc. is installed....

Apparently the script couldn't find the .jar file. When I run the bash file using the .desktop file, I assume it runs the bash file in the directory of the .desktop file...
